The system I run my own business on
Consulting (my own business) · Owner-run
- Problem
- Calls, five inboxes, client notes and time tracking were eating the hours that should go to clients.
- Built
- Meetings recorded and filed by client, email sorted into reply tasks, action items drafted from calls and an assistant that answers from all of it.
- Result
- I doubled my revenue in the last year. This is the system I install for clients. I ran it on my own business first.

Sound familiar?
Your day disappears into inboxes, follow-ups and "what did we agree on that call?" The important decisions are in recordings nobody rewatches.
What I did
With permission, every client meeting is recorded, transcribed and filed with the right client. Email from all my accounts is sorted, and anything that needs a reply becomes a task. Action items from calls become draft tasks I approve. My time is logged from the work I actually did. On top of it sits an assistant that answers "what do I need to know before this meeting?" with the source for each fact.
What changed
My hours go to client work, not admin. Over the last year that let me double my revenue. It is the same system I set up for clients: capture what the business already produces, organize it, then put AI to work on it.
